Street Obstruction Request

Approval from the City Engineer and Community Development Director is required before placing anything upon a street, alley, sidewalk, or public right-of-way. If the object is placed in such a way as not to impede or obstruct normal vehicle and pedestrian traffic (such as a roll-off dumpster placed in a parking lane), you must complete a Street Obstruction Not Impeding Traffic request.

Please submit your request at least one (1) business day before the date you would like to place a Street Obstruction.

I understand that the above-listed obstruction may not impede normal pedestrian and/or vehicle traffic in any way. Should the obstruction impede normal pedestrian and/or vehicle traffic in any way, the completion of a Street Closure Request form is required to obtain approval from the City Administrator, Fire Chief, Chief of Police, and Street Superintendent.
